Kung Fu
Extension, coordination, flexibility and balance through Chinese martial traditions — Long Fist, Southern Fist and traditional weapons under instruction.
Flow of movement
An overview
Kung Fu is the study of movement as a flowing whole. Where Kempo sharpens self-defense, Kung Fu cultivates extension, coordination, flexibility and balance through the breadth of Chinese martial traditions. Students learn foundations first and build steadily through practice.
01
Long Fist & Southern Fist
The historical curriculum includes Long Fist (Chang Chuan) and Southern Fist (Nan Chuan) — two complementary traditions that develop range, power, fluidity and rooted structure.
02
Traditional weapons
Weapons are taught under careful instruction and include the staff, spear, straight sword, broadsword and others. Beginners learn foundations and steady practice before approaching weapons work — no beginner is expected to use live weapons.
03
A practice of patience
Kung Fu rewards consistent, attentive practice. Forms are learned over time, with attention to detail and the body's own readiness.
